Instructions:
- 1 Prepare the Hose: Trim the damaged end of your 1/2" rubber air hose perfectly square and clean.
- 2 Attach the Sleeve: Slide the brass sleeve onto the freshly cut hose end, pushing it all the way until it's flush with the end.
- 3 Insert the Barb: Take the greased, threaded barb fitting and push it into the sleeve, twisting to start the threads.
- 4 Secure the Connection: Hold the sleeve firmly (a wrench might help) and place the 7/8" deep well socket over the swivel hex and onto the barb's hex nut.
- 5 Tighten: While keeping the sleeve steady, tighten the barb by turning the socket wrench until the barb is fully seated and flush with the top of the sleeve.
- 6 Repeat: Do the same for the other hose end using the second fitting in the kit.
